Jandiala Guru May 3 (Ram Saranjit Singh.Amandeep Kaur Mani) – For the first time since becoming a minister, the PWD Minister Madam Razia Sultana, on the road, felt the lack of trees on the roads and directed the officials of the Municipal Corporation to come to the monsoon. Madam Sultana, who has the charge of Social Security, Women and Child Development Department, held a meeting here with the officials of Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran, Jalandhar and Kapurthala districts and reviewed the works done by the departments. In his address, he made it clear that the PWD, whose work is directly related to the construction of buildings and roads, to ensure the quality of work. He said that no contract would be tolerated with the work done. Madam Sultana also reviewed the progress of various heritage buildings being built by the PWD and Amritsar. Deputy Commissioner Amritsar, Kamaldeep Singh Sangha directed the department to complete the operation on rural roads.
Madam Sultana, who covers the achievements of social security, women and child development department, underlined the need to reduce the gap in sex ratio and said that the benefit of the schemes and schemes being run by the department for the needy should reach every needy.
