The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to Khalistan Liberation Force chief Harminder Singh Mintu

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted bail to Khalistan Liberation Force chief Harminder Singh Mintu in the three-year-old case related to unlawful acts and ammunition. This is the second case in which he got bail. The order was issued by Justice Tejinder Singh Dhindsa.

 

Earlier, the Harminder Singh Mintu was acquitted by the Patiala court on charges of planting a bomb on the Nabha gas bottling plant. Mintoo was charged with providing necessary material for the bomb.

Mintoo’s name came to the discussion on November 27, 2016 when he had escaped from the Nabha jail, including five other prisoners. After this, Mintu was apprehended from Delhi on the night of escaping
