Gurpreet Ghuggi said that he has no resentment on becoming the President of Bhagwant Mann, but he has objection to the decisions taken by the party. Gurpreet said that when he was made the Convener of Punjab, he refused to take up this responsibility, but despite his party, he was given the responsibility. Gurpreet said that despite not wanting, I have given full responsibility to the given responsibility and always try to keep the party together.

 
The dove said that he has no malice to make Bhagwant Mann the president but the party had such an experienced leader like Sukhpal Singh Khaira, he could have been entrusted with the responsibility of the party. While speaking on the issue of ex-AAP leader and Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur, Gurpreet said that while the video of Chittoor had happened, he had demanded that this video be displayed by the party high command as the convener.
