After losing three consecutive elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has been hit by the big foot, has faced another major setback in Punjab. Former convenor Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi, angry after party supremo Arvind Kejriwal, after Bhagwant Mann was made the President of the party, finally quit his party. While addressing a press conference in Chandigarh,
Gurpreet Ghuggi said that he has no resentment on becoming the President of Bhagwant Mann, but he has objection to the decisions taken by the party. Gurpreet said that when he was made the Convener of Punjab, he refused to take up this responsibility, but despite his party, he was given the responsibility. Gurpreet said that despite not wanting, I have given full responsibility to the given responsibility and always try to keep the party together.
The dove said that he has no malice to make Bhagwant Mann the president but the party had such an experienced leader like Sukhpal Singh Khaira, he could have been entrusted with the responsibility of the party. While speaking on the issue of ex-AAP leader and Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur, Gurpreet said that while the video of Chittoor had happened, he had demanded that this video be displayed by the party high command as the convener. This video has not been shown until today. The dove said that he had sent Sanjay Singh to celebrate Chhotepur too.
Finally, in a conversation with the journalists, the dove said, “I joined Aam Aadmi Party with great enthusiasm and saying sadly, I am saying goodbye to the party.” The dove said that they are getting messages of many people and they are being asked not to leave the party but now they can not remain in the party. In the end, the doves have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the people of Batala and said that they would stand up to the people till the last breath.
