In the capital, Chandigarh, a black pant fan who protested for the Punjabi language and opposed the official boards in Hindi-English here. Baljit Singh Khalsa was arrested by the Chandigarh Police today. On July 13, the Khalsa gave black paper on the official board of the Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner’s Office. He had been demanding for a long time in a peaceful manner that the government board in Chandigarh should be in Punjabi if it is in Hindi and English.
